Using Computers Ø
The students are
given the "Taz Math" and "Taz Exercise" computer programs to
use both at home and during the Taz Math learning sessions to accelerate their
learning of math concepts. Ø
Doing more in less
time with accuracy is what we stressed in our computer programs. Our best
students can answer over 60 questions correctly within 30 seconds. Ø
These programs are
only for the use of registered Taz Math students. The power of the computer is
fully utilized by Taz Math. The computer generates random questions of various
degrees of difficulty. The computer determines the time it takes the student to
answer a given question. The computer instantly marks all questions taken by the
student. The computer instantly calculates a test score based on correct answers
and speed in an answering questions. After a test is taken, The computer
instantly determines which 5 questions should be reviewed by the student as
determined by the correctness of the question and the speed when answering the
question. The student learns the numeric keyboard which is a valuable skill used
in spreadsheet and numeric data entry.
